Daniel Klosterman

The Next Generation's Unfair Advantage: AI for Your Family and Business

Dan Klosterman got his start in our Educating for Success community.

As a home educated teenager attending one of our live events with his mom, Dan stepped in to rescue it before it even started. The hired AV crew was unfamiliar with new livestream technology that others had paid for to attend virtually.

After he livestreamed an entire 3-day event through his mom's cell phone, I hired him on the spot to operate our webinars from his family's home in South Dakota. It was his first job.

Today Dan leads EdgeTeam, where he helps families and businesses actually put AI to work. He teaches the practical, hands-on side of AI for both business and education - no technical background required.

Dan is the oldest of eight children, and now a husband and brand-new dad himself.

The Wohlwend Family

The Wohlwend family—Eric, Lila, Deven, and Ethan —are entrepreneurs, real estate investors, authors, and educators who are passionate about helping others achieve financial freedom, time freedom, and location freedom. Together, they have built multiple successful businesses, authored five #1 best-selling books, and continue to travel and speak around the world, sharing practical strategies for wealth creation and personal growth.

Eric Wohlwend controls hundreds of residential and commercial real estate units and has spent years teaching others how to build passive income through investing. His philosophy centers on empowering people to create financial independence through knowledge, creativity, and action.

Lila Wohlwend has been a real estate investor since 2003 and is a licensed Real Estate Broker, Senior Property Manager, Apartment Management Specialist, and Certified Professional Landlord. She has operated a property management company for more than two decades and serves as Principal Broker of Clear Sky Realty, Inc. In addition to managing businesses and investments, she has homeschooled and mentored her sons throughout their entrepreneurial journey.

Deven and Ethan began learning about investing when they were 5 by attending investment meetings and studying alongside their parents. Both started buying real estate at age seven using their own creativity, knowledge, and earned income rather than relying on their parents’ money or credit.

Deven became the youngest person ever to earn the Ohio Professional Housing Provider Certification at age ten and later became a #1 best-selling author.

Ethan earned the same certification at age nine, became a lead instructor for youth real estate education programs, published a #1 best-selling book at age twelve, and has built a growing portfolio of rental properties and alternative investments.

As a family, the Wohlwends teach the principles and mindset that helped them create extraordinary results at a young age, inspiring others to pursue financial independence and live life on their own terms.

Built to Last: How Family Businesses Can Tell Stories That Attract Clients, Build Trust, and Create a Legacy

Image

Kate Chattic

Kate Chattic had a desire to create a family business, so God sent her family to hear a presentation on home business that we did at a home school convention.

After spending some time finding out what made them tick, building an ecommerce business seemed to be an obvious path.

From there, the seed that was planted has grown into a mighty strong plant!

Kate, her husband, and her family have been e-commerce sellers on all the largest platforms for the past 11 years.

She has taught classes, given presentations at conferences, created a course, led masterminds and studied many online business opportunities.

As a homeschooling mom of 7 children, she delights in life that is always full of learning and new opportunities to expand as an entrepreneur.

Darren Vinnett

Darren started his first business at 12 years old with the dream to travel the world, speak and inspire people, and of course get paid to do it. By God's grace I've never had to work a job to make it in life because of entrepreneurship. He's done a lot of things right and he's done a lot of things wrong, but most importantly, he's learned to turn losses into lessons!

It was August 29th, of 2005, when hurricane Katrina hit landfall in south Louisiana. It roared in as one of the most deadly hurricanes in history and definitely became the most memorable of all hurricanes in New Orleans, Louisiana history.

Life was grand for Darren until then. The owner of a thriving promotional printing and marketing company with working relationships with the “who's who” in both the spiritual, religious and secular arenas of business. He was occasionally be given the opportunity to use his most passionate gift of speaking to inspire others and was well on his way to fulfilling his childhood dream of retiring by age 45 from a business that he had launched and grown from the bottom up on his own.
Hurricane Katrina changed all of that in ways he would have never imagined. The short version is that Katrina's landfall ushered in a season of great loss for him. Major contracts and many business relationships vanished overnight. Much like the covid 19 pandemic, so many adjustments in life and business became the new norm.

Things were not only bad in business, but they got worse when his wife of 16 years was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer and passed onto heaven only months later, leaving him the only parent of three pre-adolescent children.

In addition to that, things got even worse because, with the loss of his once thriving business, now his home and cars were all being threatened to be seized due to financial difficulties.

Describing these most challenging and difficult times of his life, he will tell you that even though he would never want to experience those days again, he wouldn't trade the lessons learned for anything!
It was during that season that he learned to face fears head on— not because he was always strong or fearless, but because in most cases he simply had no choice.
